Admissions Process

Prospective students requesting to be considered for admission or re-admissions to Bishop T. K. Gorman Catholic School who are not current students at St. Gregory Elementary should follow the procedures below:

  1. All applicants submit a copy of a recent transcript from the current school year, report cards, a registration form, and one letter of recommendation from the current school to initiate the admissions process. (The transcript should include all standardized test scores.)

  2. The applicant will fill out an application form.

  3. Upon submitting the above documents, the student will be invited to visit Bishop T. K. Gorman during a school day (if possible). The student will have the opportunity to visit classes and meet new classmates and teachers.

  4. The applicant will have an admissions interview.

  5. Bishop T. K. Gorman School will send, in writing, the admissions decision very shortly after the admissions interview providing all information in the admissions file is complete. Students who are accepted to the Bishop T. K. Gorman Catholic School will complete the registration with a $150 registration fee per student before February 28 ($300 after).

  6. Students put into a waiting pool will be notified by telephone if a position becomes available. Waiting pool decisions are made using the same criteria usually used for admission.
