November Library News

Library Book Fair at Barnes & Noble This Weekend***

This annual fundraising event for the library will take place on November 4, 5, and 6 (Saturday through Monday). The library may earn up to 25% of your total purchases if you shop at the store during these three days and check out with a Gorman voucher. Students will receive a "flyer with voucher" from their English teachers before the book fair. Extra vouchers will be available at the Gorman display table and the B & N cashier.

A Gorman teacher wish list table will be set up during the fair for those who would like to donate to that cause. All money raised will be used to improve our book, video, audio and electronic collections. Please contact Mrs. Wellmon, Rosie Bellenfant or Stephanie Haynes if you would like to help at the fair or if you have questions.

Items excluded from the sales are gift cards, café consumables and B & N membership cards.

          ***SPECIAL BOOKFAIR UPDATE***

Many thanks to those who supported the bookfair which was a huge success!  Because of your shopping at the store with the Gorman vouchers during those three days, the Library has earned over $950.00 in cash.  In addition, we have received 58 new audio and print books for the library as well as some classroom collections.  Mrs. Wellmon would like to express her deep appreciation to the parents and Gorman Ambassadors who gave up part of their weekends to represent us at the display table!
