End of Circulation

Because of the renovation project scheduled to begin on May 29, all resources are due back to the library on May 7 to be packed up for storage. Special arrangements, however, may be made with Mrs. Wellmon to use library resources for research purposes after May 7. In addition, electronic databases are also available 24/7 on and off campus via the Gorman website.

Quarter Book Sale

Many thanks to everyone who supported the book sale! Special thanks go to following who spent much time to help with discarding library resources and set them up for the big sale: Eli Thompson, Katlin Landers, Madison Hill, Britt Stafford, Josh Roe, Bekah Vickers, Cheryl Landers, Mary Miner, Reann Kiang, and Mrs. Alexander. The sale brought in $340.00 for new books.

All unsold items were donated to charities. With the help and coordination of Mrs. Shanahan, most books went to the Mercy Ship.

Famous Young Adult Authors Visiting Gorman

Many special thanks to the Landers family for coordinating this event, and also to the Friends of the Library Group and Mrs. Wilson for their hard work and planning. The audience had a very memorable afternoon with Scott Westerfeld and his wife Justine Larbalestier. The authors shared with us their writing and other experiences in an all school professional forum and signed books for readers who brought their copies.
