Barnes & Noble Bookfair Coming Soon

The Holy Family Library will host an in store bookfair at Barnes & Noble during the first weekend of February. We will need volunteers (both parents and students) to sit at our display table to represent us and help with the teacher wish list donations. Please contact Chi-Shim Wellmon or Rosie Bellenfant if you would like to schedule to help.

Second AR Store

The Second Store will be held on December 13 and 14 during Theology class time. If you would like to contribute to or work at the store, please contact Bella Obach or Patricia Vasquez for details. Store schedule is attached.

AR readers will enjoy their “moneyfree” shopping at the store for this holiday season. Stock up and be proud of yourselves!

6th Graders Rock!

Not to be outdone by classmate Dickson, Whelan Sepulvado is second in line to enough points for the year-end Six Flags trip. As for the rest of the 6th graders, they will also celebrate their success of meeting their Class Challenge with a pizza lunch given by the school on December 6 (Thursday). Great job!

Partners In Reading

You may become your child’s reading buddy by signing up for the Partners In Reading competition. The team that has the highest combined score* by May 15, 2008 will receive a prize package from the library and also qualify for the Six Flags trip. The goal for this competition is to add more excitement to the reading program, encourage friendly competition, and mostly importantly, to promote quality family reading time. Please see Mrs. Wellmon for details.

* Partners may read the same or different titles according to personal interests and levels. Each member has to contribute at least 30% of the combined score to be eligible.
