  • Regular School Dress and Schedule: Today. No school mass this morning.
  • Tyler Catholic School System Parents Prayer Group: Meets today 8:15 a.m.
  • TCSS Finance Council: Meets today at noon in the TKG Conference room.
  • MS Musical "Fiddler" Dress Rehearsal: Today at 1:00 p.m. in the Haddad HS Gym. Cast members should be released at 11:15 to eat lunch prior to the show. The chorus members (Russians, Papas, Mamas, Sons and Daughters) should report at 12:20 after checking in with block three teachers. Staff can access the attached roster of students.
  • New Teacher Meeting: Today at 3:45 p.m. in office conference room.
  • MS Musical and Band Concert: Tonight beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Haddad HS Gym.
  • Tyler Catholic School Council Meeting: Tonight at 6:00 p.m. in the Cathedral Office Meeting Room. Council meetings are open to the public.

  • TAPPS Regional Tennis Congratulations: To senior Corey Cruz who earned fifth seed in men's singles at the TAPPS State tournament and to junior Jean Paul Destarac who finished third in his flight in men's singles. The TAPPS State Meet is this weekend, April 25-26, 2008.
  • "Fiddler" Presentation Thursday Evening: For Thursday night's Fiddler performance the Academic and Fine Arts Advisory Council will offer reserved front-section seats for any parents, friends, or relatives who would like to have up-close viewing for $10 per reserved seat. Regular admission will be $5. Please e-mail Amy Cole at acoleii@suddenlink.net to get reservations. Reserved seats must be occupied by 5:45 pm; payment for reserved seats can be made at the door or placed in the AFA box before Thursday night.
  • HS Baseball Playoffs: Begin this Friday at 7:00 p.m. vs. Argyle Liberty Christian in Argyle.
  • Tyler Catholic School Advisory Council 08-09 SY: The Tyler Catholic Schools Advisory Council is seeking persons interested in participating as a member of the School Advisory Council. Persons who have shown a sincere interest in and commitment to Catholic education, who are willing to give time and energy for the betterment of Catholic education, and who are positive contributors to their parishes/schools in the Diocese are eligible to become members of the Council. Any person who is interested in serving on the Council or who would like more information about the Council or the selection process should contact Steve Hancock at steve.hancock@trane.com

  • Prom Pictures: This year's Prom candid photos are available for viewing online at: www.motophototyler.com . Click the link on the home page: View Event Photos. The session ID is the word "gorman" (all lower case). For anyone wishing to purchase these images, they are for sale (with a portion of the proceeds going to the Gorman Yearbook). To order candid photos, send an e-mail to: ron@motophototyler.com with the image numbers and picture sizes desired. Finished photos can usually be picked up and paid for at MotoPhoto the same day they are ordered if the e-mail is not received too late in the day. Or, if students prefer, drop by MotoPhoto and place an order in person. Images will be available for viewing there too.
