- Parents Prayer Group: Meets this morning at 8:15 in the TKG Chapel.
- Administrative Team Meeting: Today at 8:45 a.m.
- School Mass: This morning at 9:40 a.m. with Fr. Paul Key.
- National Latin Exam Awards: Will be given after mass today.
- AP Test Pre-Administration: Pre-administration session for students taking AP tests is today during the 4th block in cafeteria. Students must pay for the tests at this time. Please bring a number #2 pencil. 1 test-$84.00. If you are taking more than one test, the first is $84.00 and the second one is $64.00.
- 2009 Italy Trip: Italy Trip meeting is today at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria
- Eight Grade Parents Memory Book Meeting: A memory book workshop for 8th grade parents will be held today at 4:00pm in room 212 for anyone interested (come and go). There will also be a meeting at 6pm in room 212 to finalize plans for the graduation festivities. - MS National Junior Honor Society: Induction is this Friday, May 2, 2008 as part of the MS Honors Convocation, starting at 8:15 a.m.
- Athletic Physicals: Free athletic physicals provided by Trinity Mother Frances will be held Saturday, May 3rd at Health Park Plaza on Highway 110 near 5th Street. Gorman student-athletes will be seen beginning at 12:30 p.m. Physical packets need to be picked up in the school office and returned by Wednesday, April 30th. Directions to Health Park Plaza are included in the packet.
- Nazareth Farm Appalachian Service Group: This summer seven seniors in the Class of 2009 will serve for a week in Appalachia through the Nazareth Farm program. Gorman students selected are: Alex Williams, Bijan Stephens, Benjamin Curtis, Anna Weeks, Abby Weeks, Holly Robertson, Emma Fratangelo,
- Spring Flower Sale: The HS Environmental Science class will again be offering spring flowers for sale or for delivery and planting through May 15? Please contact lmooney@tkgorman.net. Flats of 18 =$18; Planting = $ 22 a flat.
- Diocese of Tyler Basic Ethics and Integrity Training: Deacon Natera is holding a Basic Ethics training session on Monday, May 12th from 6 pm - 9pm in room 302 on the Gorman Campus. Please notify Lucy Ussery if you are interested in taking the class.
- Sky Ranch Summer Experience: Sky Ranch is offering some area schools, which includes Gorman, a special half price tuition for the first week in June. The date is June 1st through June 7th, 2008. It is for ages six through sixteen and the price for the week is $378.00 per student, usually $840 per week. They are hoping to have large groups of students who know each other and would enjoy the experience together by doing this. To register a student, please dial the guest registration line at 903.266.3300 and ask for the Gorman special rate of $378 for the week of June 1 through June 7, 2008.
