• AP English Summer Reading Group: Second to last group session is today from 4-6 p.m.
• Schick Named New Middle School Coordinator: Long-time faculty member, coach and administrator Mrs. Mary Schick has been named the new Middle School Coordinator effective today.  Schick has taught at Gorman since August, 1998, retaining three MS science classes even as a school administrator.  Schick moves in to the position after the recent resignation of Mrs. Lynne Reuter from the Gorman faculty.
• Booster Club Meeting: This Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.
• Summer Office Hours: End this Friday.  This week 8-1 each weekday.
• Sixth Grade Parent Welcome and Information Session: Monday, August 18, 2008 at 8:30 a.m. in the Milam Joseph Center.
