AR brings the wonderful world of children and young adult literature and technology together to give a special appeal to today’s children.
It promotes reading comprehension among K to 12 grade students by developing thousands of reading practice quizzes on quality fiction and informative non-fiction books to compliment their reading interests. There are also easy-to-use report systems for teachers and parents to monitor their kids’ progress.

Every one from the T K Gorman Catholic School community is welcome to participate if interested. All students are entered as participants after they have enrolled. Faculty and families may sign up with the librarian any time during the year.
Is AR required by every student?
No, AR in this school is an incentive program with lots of rewards, challenges, and events to promote and encourage individual reading. There will also be library stores for participating students to use their reading points on some money-free shopping.
